Is it or is it not a netbook? That's the question every time a pint-sized, relatively inexpensive laptop pops up in the PCMag Labs. Such is the case with the Dell Inspiron M101z ($580 direct): Its 11-inch chassis and sub-$600 price tag are bordering netbook territory. But beneath its hood, a dual-core AMD Athlon processor, 1080p HD-capable graphics, and 4GB of memory says that this ultraportable should go up against CULV standouts like the Asus UL80Vt-A1 ($823 street, ) and Acer Aspire 1830T-3721 ($700 street, ).
